Who we are
Servopack Preowned is a subsidiary company belonging to the holding company Servopack Ltd.
As a Pharmaceutical machine agency, the focus of Servopack Ltd is on new machine sales. However, on several occasions our customers have asked us to clear equipment quickly to allow for new machinery. In some cases, used machinery has been sold to us in part exchange for new equipment. For example, to remove an old tablet counter to make room for a new one. The concept of ServopackUsed is to offer a complete service to our new machine customers, and at the same time, offer lower cost machine options to customers either on a budget or looking for a faster delivery time.
Servopack Ltd is the UK agent for Rotzinger PharmaPack, Rota Verpackungstechnik and Pharma Packaging Systems.
Some pre-owned machinery from these suppliers have already become available to us and sold on to the trade.
In the past, the founder, Lonn Newby spent 21 years with Bosch Packaging Technology, so after very good relations with customers, machinery such as Bosch capsule machines or capsule checkweighers have been offered to us to clear them.
Sell to Us
When dealing with customers we like to see the machine running or at least in the original clean room before decommissioning. We have regularly turned down machines stored in outside storage containers due to damp and moisture risks.
We will always ask for:
- Machine in fully working condition
- Associated size parts
- Service history
- Product history
- Cleaning certificate
- Any spare parts
